It’s the holiday season, and many of our GreenStone locations are giving back to the community through service and giveaways. Here’s a sampling of just a few of the ways our branches are embracing the holiday spirit.
Toys for Tots
Our Allegan branch collects new and gently used toys for the Toys for Tots campaign in Holland. The branch has been collecting toys for more than six years.
Members of the community are welcome to drop off their donations in a box located in the branch’s lobby at 1517 Lincoln Road in Allegan.
Giving Back to YOU
The Allegan branch is also giving away gifts to customers who visit their office through the first of the year.
Those who stop by are able to spin a wheel and win things including a cooler, business portfolio, tape measure, and garden gloves among many other prizes.

Feeding The Community
GreenStone’s Grand Rapids team is working with the Kids Food Basket, a nonprofit that supplies sack lunches to school-age children facing food insecurity. The meals are given to children on weekends when they don’t have a school lunch available.
Some of the staff on the team are coloring lunch bags with messages to the children, others are packing snack bags in the office and others are going to the facility to pack the sack lunches.
The branch chose this organization because of the vast reach and the number of people they are able to support.
The Kids Food Basket serves children in and around the Grand Rapids area.
Supporting the Neighborhood
In Schoolcraft, they are donating to the South County Community Service’s Trees of Life campaign.
This campaign sells ornaments to be hung on their trees. People are asked to dedicate their ornament to a loved one and have their name put on it. The proceeds from the ornaments go towards helping area families in need.
The Schoolcraft branch was also able to donate funds to provide free horse and wagon rides to the community during the village of Schoolcraft’s annual Christmas walk.
