The Internet as a Resource

You invest in tractors, implements, fuel, seed, chemicals, irrigation, barns, labor, and other tools to run your farm. You also rely on important information from your local extension agent, agronomist, veterinarian, and others…plus you have to keep an eye on the weather. Managing all of these resources can be challenging.

One way to help keep all of this information at your fingertips is to leverage the Internet. Finding information on agronomy, business management, weather, equipment or grain marketing is as easy as typing any of these terms into an internet search engine like Google or Yahoo and reviewing the results.
